At such a young age and so full of vision, Alyssa and Alanna, ages 7 and 11, envisioned a clothing line that reflected their life style and bridged the gap between casual play clothes and modern island/resort wear.

Proudly promoting their love for Hawai‘i—their home, inspiration, and muse—these two young entrepreneurs are community conscious, taking interest in local artists and trends, yet keeping their original sense of creativity and style.

From conception to execution, the girls are involved in every phase of the design process. From choosing the line name “Pretty Me” to selecting the comfortable fabrics, vibrant prints, and colors. Working together with their head designer, who proud mother Cynthia recruited in Hawaii, “Pretty Me” by Alyssa & Alanna was created and the girls’ vision was made reality.

“Pretty Me” was born as a better resort wear line that is sophisticated, modern, fun and fresh for girls of all ages. This line is complemented with an additional line for women, fostering a connection between mothers and daughters through fashion with similar styles and patterns. Impeccable quality and cut, hand embroidery and embellishments with Swarovski crystals, and luxurious fabrics like 100% silk chiffon and silk sweater: the result is flawless and refreshing. The mother/daughter matching line is sophisticated yet fun and fresh; signature prints and hand-sewn embroidery designs make this line one of a kind.

The “Pretty Me” line launched in Fall of 2006, with a second line already planned for Spring of 2007.  Future ambitions for the "Pretty Me" line include accessories and handbags. Also, look forward to an environmentally-friendly surprise to be revealed along with the Spring line.
